GONE SO SOON





25th of June , 2005 is just like yesterday,  but today makes it five years that you are gone dad!
Five years is just like five months gone,  just because of how dear you are to my soul!
Sincerely,  I wouldn’t have had a better father than you in this entire world.
Your memories are still fresh in my heart,  the memory of the righteous is blessed indeed.
There is a sharp pain that grip my heart whenever your memories comes!
If crying would have brought you back,  I think you should have been back by now!
The inestimable value of your presence is still felt till now!



If I had known that your time was that short, I would have maximized the little I had with you. Oh, had I known!
Truly you were gone too soon, but I’ve learnt to live with some differences I can't change in life.
Maybe when we get to heaven, we'll ask Him so many questions. Somebody said that when we get to heaven, we'll be too happy to ask God some of our questions, well, it could be true!
How I wish I can just behold you one more time!
How I wish I can have a chance to chart with you just one more time!
How I wish I can behold one more time the beauty of your voice, I can't forget how you call me when things are bad - "Dapo! Come along! Come along"
The reality and possibility of these keep fading away as the clock ticks off.
Well, maybe all these will be a reality on that resurrection morning at the feet of Christ!
Continue your sweet sleep in the arms of your maker till that beautiful morning when there shall be shouts of joy and victory, where our faces shall be painted with laughter and joy unspeakable.
